crazy big-headed bobbi

is it just me, or is this bear's head abnormally large? i am sure it seems bigger since he has no arms or face...but really, it's jumbo. he doesn't look so freakish in the pattern picture. or on other blogs. is this bear going to scare a child?
stay tuned. face, ears and arms to come. maybe if i give him giant ears you will be distracted from his enormous head. or flappy arms. suggestions welcome.
